the articles or e-book once I have placed my order?
Instantly! As soon as

it will take you to the page containing links to the articles or e-books
you have chosen. Save this page with the links on it so you can
refer to it later. (On a PC, click "File" then click "Save
As," make sure "Desktop" is chosen in the top box and then
click the "Save" button. This will save the links page to the desktop

2. I don't know much about computers. What
do you mean by the e-books being in Adobe Acrobat format? Is this hard to use?
No, it is not hard to use. Adobe Acrobat is a program that makes
electronic information readable and look the same on any computer. All you
need is the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to make it work. If you don't
have the free Reader, click here,
then click on the button that says "download Adobe Acrobat Reader"
- it will look like this:

Follow their instructions and then your computer will know what to do next
on it's own. After this Reader is in your computer you can open your article
or e-book by clicking on the link and then you can read it. The e-book files
are large and Adobe Acrobat is a little slow to open so give it a few minutes
to do it's thing and open for you.

9. How do I save the page with
the links to the articles and e-books I just purchased?
The Thank-you page contains the links to the articles or
e-books you ordered. Once this page is gone the links are gone! You may want to
save this page on your desktop (On a PC, click on "File" then "Save as"
and make sure it says "Desktop" in the top box, then click the "save" button.
To open the file you ordered later, double-click on the Desktop icon to bring
this page up again. Then click on the link(s) and the file you want will open
up in the Adobe Acrobat Reader. You must be connected to the internet to open
the files since they "live" on the Internet. If you don't have the free
Reader, click here,
then click on the button that says "download Adobe Acrobat Reader."
) If you lose the links, please email
us and we can resend them to you.

10. I emailed you but never heard
back from you. How come?
We receive a lot of emails everyday from people who have car repair problems
and need some help to fix them. We do the best we can to answer as many of
these questions as possible but we can't always get to all of them (haven't
figured out the cloning thing yet!). Steve teaches full time and has been
teaching extra weekend classes to help technicians in California obtain or
renew their smog licenses so he is really busy.
Occasionally we do hear of emails getting lost in cyberspace. We check our
emails at least once a day. We will always respond to the few customer
support issues we receive - usually in 24 hours or less (the most common being
a person has lost their e-book link). Please make sure you write something
in the subject line of your email - spam filters are set to block out emails
when nothing is written in the subject line. If you have not heard back from
us within 48 hours, please assume we did not receive your message and email
us again. Our customers are important to us. We are a very small
company so we deal with every request personally. Please accept our apologies
in advance if this happens to you. You can also try calling us at home in
New Zealand. From the US. dial 011-64-9-832-1352 or in New Zealand dial (09)
832-1352. You can also faxing us at (707) 780-8915 (US number).
