1. How long does it
take to receive the articles or e-book once I have placed my order?
Instantly!
As soon as your order has been approved, click on the "Continue"
button and it will take you to the page containing links to
the articles or e-books you have chosen. Save this page
with the links on it so you can refer to it later. (On a PC, click
"File" then click "Save As," make sure "Desktop"
is chosen in the top box and then click the "Save" button.
This will save the links page to the desktop of your computer
so you can refer to it later.) Later on, you can go to your desktop
(main computer screen) and click on "Smogsite_com" files
and the Thank You page will open up again with the links, username
and passwords ready for you to use.

2. What if I lose the username,
password or link to the information I purchased?
Don't worry - it's not a problem - we will send you a
new one! Just email us with your name, item you bought and the
date you purchased from us. We will verify your order and email
the information back to you.

3. I don't know much about computers.
What do you mean by the e-books being in Adobe Acrobat format? Is
this hard to use?
No, it is not hard to use. Adobe Acrobat is a program
that makes electronic information readable and look the same on
any computer. All you need is the free Adobe Acrobat Reader
to make it work. Most computers already have this. If yours doesn't
have the free Reader, simply click here,
and follow their instructions for your type of computer. After
this Reader is in your computer you can open your article or e-book
by clicking on the link and then you can read it. The e-book files
are large and Adobe Acrobat is a little slow to open so give it
a few minutes to do it's thing and open for you.

4. How do I save the
page with the links to the articles and e-books I just purchased?
The Thank-you page contains
the links to the articles or e-books you ordered. Once this page
is gone the links are gone! You may want to save this page on
your desktop (On a PC, click on "File" then
"Save as" and make sure it says "Desktop" in the top box, then
click the "save" button. Later on, you can go to your desktop
(main computer screen) and click on "Smogsite_com" files
and the Thank You page will open up again with the links, username
and passwords ready for you to use. Then click on the link(s)
and the file you want will open up in the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
You must be connected to the internet to open the files since
they "live" on the Internet. If you don't have the free
Reader, click here,
then click on the button that says "download Adobe Acrobat
Reader." ) If you lose the links, please email
us and we can resend them to you.

5. How long does it take to get
email support?
We will always respond to the few customer support requests
we receive - usually in less than 24 hours (the most common request
is a person has lost their e-book link, username or password).
When you email us please
make sure you write something in the subject line of your email
- spam filters are set to block out emails when nothing is written
in the subject line. If you have not heard back from us within
48 hours, please assume we did not receive your message and email
us again. Our customers are important to us and we
are aware that occasionally emails are lost in cyberspace or caught
in spam filters but we are a very small company so we deal with
every request personally. Please accept our apologies in advance
if this happens to you. You can also try calling us at home in

We receive a lot of emails everyday from people who have car
repair problems and need some help to fix them. We do the best
we can to answer as many of these questions as possible but we
can't always get to all of them (haven't figured out the cloning
thing yet!). Steve teaches full time and often teaches extra classes
to help technicians so he is really busy and finds there are just
not enough hours in a day to help everyone.

6. I ordered a printed book. How
long will it take to arrive?
One week if you live in the continental United States.
Overseas orders may take up to three to four weeks depending
on the postal services available in that country. In either case
we will do our best to get it to you as soon as possible.
